The St. Petersburg Community Band was founded in 1975, and we are still going strong. We are a registered non-profit organization of sixty-plus volunteer musicians of all ages. We play a wide variety of music from Blues to Big Band, Classical to Cha-Cha, and just about everything in-between.
We love to play (for free, although we are always open to donations and sponsorships) and we are very proud to support our community. Our audiences have heard us at nursing homes, the Special Olympics, the Sheriff's Youth Ranch, The Pier, at the Lighting of The Tree ceremonies and many other civic affairs all around town, especially during the Holiday Season.
